When I was Home Alone

About the Book
This collection of poems narrates the perspectives of a 9-year-old girl towards the world from a different point of view. The isolated lockdown period proved to be the fountainhead of creative spirit to a number of budding souls, and the author is one among them. She has portrayed different happenings around her—where she should be a part of, but unfortunately she is not. In her view, kids and youngsters are the real heroes of the corona pandemic situation, who need the morning sunlight to start the drill and the golden ray of dusk to garland the playground. They were confined within the four walls of a ten square feet room.
